Stratego -- Strategies for Program Transformation
sdf2imp is an IDE tooling platform integrating SDF and Stratego/XT into Eclipse. It makes use of the IMP Meta-tooling Platform to provide both syntax-based and semantics-based editor services.
Installation
There is no stable release of sdf2imp yet, but an alpha version can be installed using the update site mechanism of Eclipse.Using Eclipse 3.3
1) Install the plugin through the update menu at Help>Software Updates>Find and Install. 2) Select Search for new features to install and choose Next. 3) Select New Remote Site and enter:sdf2imp, http://www.lclnet.nl/update/0.1.x.
4) Choose Finish to load the list of available plugins. Then, select the sdf2imp plugin and follow the remaining steps of the installation wizard to complete the
Using Eclipse 3.4
Due to incompatibilities with the the new, somewhat notorious update mechanism in Eclipse 3.4, the "classic update" feature must be used to install the plugin with this version. 1) In the Window>Preferences dialog, select General>Capabilities and enable the Classic Update option. 2) The plugin can now be installed using the classic update menu: go to Help>Software Updates>Find and Install. 3) Select Search for new features to install and choose Next. 4) Select New Remote Site and enter:sdf2imp, http://www.lclnet.nl/update/0.1.x
5) Choose Finish to load the list of available plugins. Then, select the sdf2imp plugin and follow the remaining steps of the installation wizard to complete the installation.
