----+++ Contents of the Distribution

The StrategoDistribution contains the complete sources of the StrategoCompiler, StrategoScript and the [[Stratego standard library]]. The distribution can be used to develop extensions/modifications of the implementation. If you have made such modifications that you would like to share with other Stratego users, please contact Main.EelcoVisser.
		
----+++ Required Packages

The distribution depends on the following packages

	* GNU tools: gmake, <I>gcc</I> (version gcc-2.95.3; gcc-2.96 that is distributed with recent Linux distributions is broken) Available at http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/releases.html
	* On windows machines these are provided through [[http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/][Cygwin]]
	* <a href="http://www.cwi.nl/projects/MetaEnv/aterm/">ATerm Library</a>

Starting with StrategoRelease06 the distribution has been split up in several smaller packages. 
	* srts: the Stratego Run Time System
	* ssl: the Stratego Standard Library
	* sc-boot: the bootstrapped C sources of the StrategoCompiler
	* gpp-boot: the bootstrapped C sources of Tools.GPP
	* cgen: a package for generating C source code
	* sc: the Stratego sources of the StrategoCompiler
These packages can be downloaded separately. A bundled distribution of these packages is also available.
