Tasks of Publicity Chair: %PUBCHAIR%

  • SET-UP and ADMINISTER the conference web site (others will provide content)

  • SET-UP and maintain a mailing-list of people (gpce-news) and other mailing-lists for e-mail advertising

  • SEND and KEEP TRACK of e-mail adverting

  • contribute to the preparation of calls

Tasks of PC Chairs: %PCCHAIRS%

  • FORMING the PC (possibly by the end of November)

  • advice (possibly consulting the PC) on possible invited speakers

  • HANDLE THE SELECTION of paper and demos, and related issues, such as preparation of proceedings and technical program, provide content for the website and mailing lists related to the PC activity

  • advice on the selection of satellite events (workshop and tutorials).

Tasks of Workshops and Tutorial Chairs: %WTCHAIRS%

  • contribute to the preparation of a call for workshops and tutorials

  • SOLICIT PROPOSALS especially for workshops and tutorials (various people in the GPCE SC can suggest names)

  • CONTRIBUTE TO THE SELECTION of proposals for workshops and tutorials

  • PROVIDE CONTENT AND MAINTAIN the GPCE'05 website on matters related to workshops and tutorials (each workshop and tutorial should have a web page maintained by the organizer/tutorial speaker)

  • INTERFACE WITH the workshop organizers and tutorial speakers

%EV% and %JG% played and important role in GPCE'04, and can provide valuable expertise.
